In a recent Instagram Story, the former World Heavyweight Champion said he is the best wrestler in the world when it comes to sports entertainment.
The statement comes during a period of heavy exposure for Jey, who remains involved in major Bloodline segments alongside Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso. On this week’s RAW, The Usos helped Reigns during the chaos involving Jacob Fatu, once again reinforcing the family’s unity.

Jey had already been the subject of plenty of debate following his major singles rise, which included winning the 2025 Royal Rumble and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. WWE also lists his resume as including the Intercontinental Championship and multiple tag team title reigns.
According to posts that picked up the Instagram Story, Jey also mentioned that he has been performing at the highest level for nearly two decades, suggesting that his view is not limited only to WWE’s current landscape.
So far, there is no indication that the comment is tied to any specific new segment. However, based on the tone of the post, Jey appears to be continuing to use criticism as part of his current presentation on WWE programming.
