Blake Monroe’s rivalry with Giulia on WWE SmackDown has come with bigger consequences for The Glamour, who will need to undergo mouth surgery.
In her latest TikTok vlog, Monroe said the procedure is needed because of a knee Giulia landed during their brawl on the September 4 episode of SmackDown. She expects to have the surgery on Tuesday and take a few days to recover.
“I have to get surgery on my mouth because Giulia kneed me in the face. So I have to get that on, I think, Tuesday. So I have to take a couple of days to recover.”
Monroe was in an interview with Cathy Kelley when Giulia attacked her out of nowhere. The brawl spilled to the entrance area and ended with Giulia hitting the Arrivederci Knee. The match never got started.
It was WWE’s second failed attempt at putting the match together. On August 21, Monroe was set to make her official in-ring SmackDown debut against Giulia but attacked her before the bell.
The rivalry started on June 26, when Monroe made her first main roster appearance and attacked Giulia after her win over Kiana James.
