Blake Monroe, who suffered a mouth injury on last week’s WWE SmackDown, has posted a short update on her condition.
On X, Monroe said the surgery is done and she’s ready to move on.
“been there, done that, teeth in a bag, NEXT”
As previously reported, Monroe revealed in a TikTok vlog that she needed mouth surgery after taking a knee from Giulia on the September 4 episode of SmackDown. She said she expected to be out for only a few days after the procedure.
The attack came before their match, which was set to finally mark Monroe’s in-ring debut on SmackDown. Giulia attacked The Glamour backstage, and the match was called off.
In a digital exclusive posted on social media, Monroe handed General Manager Nick Aldis a small bag of teeth she said were knocked out during the attack. She also demanded consequences for Giulia.
This wasn’t the first time the match fell apart. Monroe and Giulia were scheduled to face each other on the August 21 SmackDown in Toronto, but on that occasion, it was Monroe who attacked Giulia before the bell.
