TNA is going through another shake-up, with several notable names leaving the company. Even so, Matt Hardy made it clear that he does not believe TNA is being prepared for a sale to WWE.
In recent days, Tommy Dreamer left the creative team, while Tessa Blanchard was granted her release, as was Sami Callihan. Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, and Dani Luna had also already left TNA, adding even more fuel to the speculation.
TNA itself described the changes as a “workforce reduction” aimed at cutting costs, streamlining operations, and making the company more profitable.
The timing has drawn attention because iMPACT! premiered on AMC in January. On social media, Hardy responded to the rumors:
“Because I am telling the fucking truth. I’m one of few that does. TNA is not being sold to WWE, there’s only discussion on how to grow TNA. That is our goal. Yeah, it could be sold. Nobody that truly supports TNA should ever want that though. I believe in the current roster. Call me crazy, but I believe in TNA.”

It should be noted that the WWE-TNA partnership remains active. Carlos Silva said in late 2025 that the relationship helped the company land its AMC deal and would continue growing in 2026.
TNA will hold Slammiversary on June 28 at Agganis Arena in Boston.
