WWE has announced a new match for tonight’s SmackDown at the Hilliard Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, pitting Alexa Bliss, Jacy Jayne, and Jade Cargill against each other.
The three will square off in a Money in the Bank qualifying match, with the winner earning a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Sol Ruca and Lola Vice are the only women qualified for the match so far.
Bliss, Jayne, and Cargill have all been directly involved in recent chaos. On the September 4 episode of SmackDown, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin attacked Flair, Paxley, and Bliss, with Fatal Influence joining the attack shortly after.
Bliss has won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match once before, in 2018.
Money in the Bank will take place on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In addition to the qualifying match, tonight’s SmackDown will feature Sami Zayn in his first appearance since regaining the Undisputed WWE Championship, as well as an exclusive interview with Cody Rhodes following his loss to Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
