WWE has added another last-minute match to tonight’s SmackDown.
The MFTs (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga) will face Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki), though the WWE Tag Team Championship will not be on the line.
The match stems from the September 4 episode of SmackDown. That night, Nakamura and Kyoki defeated The Miz and Kit Wilson in Bakusai’s tag team debut, with Kyoki hitting a reverse stunner on Wilson for the win. The two teams faced off after the match.
The storyline added another chapter last week. WWE posted an exclusive video after SmackDown in which Haku, who accompanies Tama and Talla, issued a warning to Bakusai.
The MFTs are in their second reign with the WWE Tag Team Championship. Tama and Talla regained the titles on August 14, following their first reign between January and March of this year.
Along with the tag team match, tonight’s SmackDown will feature an appearance by new Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn, plus an exclusive interview with Cody Rhodes following his loss to Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
