New Day Announced for Chris Jericho Cruise as Potential AEW Deal Gains Momentum

Kofi and Austin Creed, formerly known in WWE as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, already have a new booking locked in following their departure from the company this past May.

Chris Jericho announced Tuesday that both will be part of the seventh edition of his Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, dubbed “Seventh Cruise of a Seventh Cruise.” This marks their first appearance on the cruise.

The duo is featured prominently on the cruise’s official website, billed as “Super Massive Guest Captains” and listed directly below Jericho himself.

The cruise runs November 7-11 aboard the Norwegian Jewel, sailing from Miami, Florida, to Bimini in the Bahamas. Beyond wrestling, the event will feature live music, podcast tapings, and additional entertainment.

Other confirmed names include Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, The Great Muta, Harley Cameron, Elayna Black, Ted DiBiase, Carlito, Shotzi Blackheart, and Chris Van Vliet. Jericho’s band Fozzy will also perform.

Kofi and Creed left WWE in early May and have since been using the names Kofi and Austin Creed for public appearances. On July 29, the duo released an animated short titled “Daybreak” featuring two unicorns escaping a circus, further fueling speculation about what’s next for them.

AEW has strong interest in signing both. As previously reported, multiple key figures within the company are supportive of bringing them in. However, no deal has been officially announced.
