Noam Dar is back on WWE NXT programming. The Scottish-Israeli wrestler appeared on the Tuesday, May 5 episode during a backstage segment involving The Vanity Project.

The moment came after Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor mocked Romeo Moreno. Dar then walked in, stared down the group, and made it clear he has officially been cleared to return to the ring. He quickly challenged Drake to a match next week, saying he wants to shake off the rust after a long time away.

Drake accepted after getting support from Myka Lockwood, who aligned herself with The Vanity Project. Earlier in the same show, Drake had defeated Jasper Troy after interference from Smokes, Baylor, and Myka herself.

Although his TV return came as a surprise, Dar had already been testing his physical condition at non-televised events. On April 24 in Dade City, he defeated Jackson Drake in his first match since June 2025. A few days later, on May 2, he also beat Victor Zonov in Venice, Florida.

Dar was forced to vacate the NXT Heritage Cup in 2025 due to injury, shortly after returning from another absence. He remains one of the names most closely tied to the cup’s history, having held it four times.
