Omos is still dominant in AAA.
On Night 2 of TripleMania 34, held Sunday at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, he won the Copa Bardahl for the second year in a row.
The match featured 15 participants and works like a Royal Rumble, but also allows eliminations by pinfall and submission. Mr. Iguana and Abismo Negro Jr. were the first two to enter, while Omos didn’t come in until the No. 13 spot.
Once he entered, Omos took over. He eliminated Texano Jr., Laredo Kid, El Mesías, Mecha Wolf and La Parka in rapid succession. Chris Carter didn’t last long either, and Mr. Iguana and Mascarita Sagrada were also eliminated.
In the end, it came down to Niño Hamburguesa, who was making his return to AAA. Omos turned it around and made the final elimination, finishing with nine total to win the Copa Bardahl.
In 2025, Omos also entered at No. 13 and finished the match by eliminating La Parka. That year’s Copa had 14 competitors and lasted 26 minutes and 36 seconds.
Omos already had a big win on Night 1 of TripleMania 34 on September 11, defeating Rey Mysterio in the main event.
