R-Truth has once again hinted that his WWE in-ring career may be nearing its end, even though he still has a long-term deal signed with the company.
During a recent interview with Daniel Sadoh, the veteran was asked how he sees the next five years of his career. His answer suggested that he believes he will be retired before then.
“I’ll be around. I signed a four-year deal. But it’s like—the sky is the limit, man. It’ll always be the limit. I don’t believe in aging. A farewell tour for me? I’m open to it. I’ve had so many different ideas of how I want that to go down, because it will go down.”
“I think it’s just—I don’t want to talk prematurely about it and just let the chips fall where they may. I’m the type of man—I push ideas and creativity just out of the air, because life gives you those moments to do that.”
R-Truth’s current WWE contract was revealed in January, when he said he had signed for four years, with an additional three-year option.
The deal came after a major fan reaction in June 2025, when WWE initially did not renew his contract before bringing him back at Money in the Bank.
Truth remains active on SmackDown and appears alongside Damian Priest as a WWE Tag Team Champion.
