Angel Garza and Berto became a talking point among WWE fans after their quick loss to Oba Femi on the latest Monday Night RAW. The duo was dragged into the ring during Femi’s Open Challenge and ended up losing in a Handicap Match.

The situation blew up on social media shortly after the show. Garza thanked fans who kept supporting the “Garza Legacy,” while Berto posted a black image, fueling speculation about a possible departure from the company.

However, according to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Live, the internal feeling is that Angel and Berto are not expected to leave WWE at this time.

“Also, the feeling is Angel and Berto aren’t going anywhere, and with AAA looking for a US TV deal, most likely a lot of the Hispanic talent are probably safe for the moment.”

“Still major visa issues going on which is why AAA hasn’t announced any US dates yet, and also why they haven’t announced where the September 11 show is going to be.”

AAA’s role in all of this matters. WWE recently announced that Triplemanía 34 will be held over two nights for the first time, on September 11 and 13, with the second night taking place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

Also according to Alvarez, AAA is dealing with major visa issues, which would explain the lack of shows in the United States and also why the venue for the September 11 show has yet to be revealed.
