WWE Crown Jewel will now take place at The Venue (ANB Arena) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, instead of Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, where it was originally scheduled.

On Friday, the move was made official when the show’s ticket listing was updated with the new venue. The difference is capacity. The original stadium could hold roughly 25,000 fans, while the new arena holds about 8,000.

Riyadh Season announced the move on Wednesday, with a full refund for every ticket sold and tickets expected to go on sale again within 48 hours.

On Thursday, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the show was headed to Kingdom Arena. Meltzer said the decision was made by the Saudi side, which believes an indoor building is better for safety because it makes it easier to control who gets in. But that didn’t end up being the case, and the show is now set for The Venue.

Wrestling Noticias reported that poor ticket sales may have been one of the reasons for moving the show from Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD to a new venue.

The Venue is set to host the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli on Saturday. The building has hosted other Riyadh Season sporting events, including the Six Kings Slam in tennis.

Crown Jewel is still scheduled for Saturday, November 7, with a 12 p.m. ET start time, and the show will stream on the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited subscription in the United States.
