Roman Reigns has been announced for several upcoming WWE dates over the next few weeks, raising expectations around his presence on the red brand’s programming.
New promotional artwork features the current World Heavyweight Champion on two episodes of Monday Night RAW in June: June 15 in Baltimore, Maryland, and June 29 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The Atlantic City date stands out, as WWE will be holding a double taping of RAW and SmackDown at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. It will be the first televised WWE event in the city in nearly two decades.
As for Baltimore, the official event page still lists names like CM Punk, Logan Paul, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, and Stephanie Vaquer among the featured talent. In other words, Reigns’ appearance is tied more to recent promotional material at this point than to the individual show page.
The most interesting piece of the puzzle remains Night of Champions. The premium live event is set for June 27 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, but the official page still doesn’t list any stars announced for the event.
Since Reigns is appearing in Turin at the end of May and in Atlantic City two days after the Saudi show, it remains to be seen whether WWE is simply keeping its Night of Champions plans under wraps or if the OTC will actually sit out the event.
