Roman Reigns isn’t planning to wait long to settle things with Jacob Fatu in WWE.

At the top of this Monday’s Monday Night RAW, the World Heavyweight Champion confronted Adam Pearce about what went down at Backlash, where he defeated Fatu and retained the title. After the match, however, the Samoan Werewolf attacked Reigns, Pearce, and other WWE officials.

During a backstage segment, Reigns questioned Pearce about possibly firing Fatu. The General Manager, however, pointed out that it was Reigns himself who called Jacob to the show tonight.

WWE officially announced an Acknowledgement Ceremony between Reigns and Fatu for RAW, raising the question of whether Jacob will finally acknowledge the Tribal Chief after his loss at Backlash.

The key detail here is that Reigns had already made it clear right after Backlash that Fatu no longer belonged in WWE, even going as far as saying that was his last night with the company.

Still, Roman stated that Pearce couldn’t fire Fatu before he acknowledged him. The OTC then promised to handle everything tonight, making it clear he intends to finish Jacob off before any front-office decision is made.

So the rivalry between the two is far from over, even after Reigns’ victory at Backlash.
