Roman Reigns hit the 50-day mark today as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The OTC captured the title on Night Two of WrestleMania 42 on April 19, when he defeated CM Punk in the show’s main event, ending the “Second City Saint’s” title reign and returning to the top of the company.

Since then, Reigns has once again been presented as one of the main attractions on WWE programming, especially because of the new chapter involving The Bloodline. Last week, RAW had a major focus on the family drama between Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and The Usos.

The milestone also stands out because this is Reigns’ first reign with the World Heavyweight Championship, a title created in 2023 and currently tied to RAW.

While 50 days is still far from a historic title reign, the number already reinforces Reigns’ new position in WWE after WrestleMania 42. It remains to be seen how far the company plans to take this run, especially with the rivalry involving his family taking up more and more space on WWE programming.
