Roman Reigns had a very different kind of moment after this week’s Monday Night RAW went off the air at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
After the cameras stopped rolling, the live crowd began singing “Happy Birthday” to the World Heavyweight Champion, who turned 41 this past Monday.
Reigns, setting aside the Tribal Chief persona for a few moments, thanked the fans for their support and admitted it can be difficult to shift gears right after a segment involving his own family.
“This is the real deal,” Reigns said, before saying he feels like a “lottery winner” and asking everyone to get home safely.

The moment came shortly after Reigns and Jacob Fatu signed the contract for their Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy. The two exchanged heated words to set the stage for their World Heavyweight Championship match.
The rivalry escalated after Backlash, where Reigns retained the title but was brutally attacked by Fatu. Since then, The Samoan Werewolf has been on a collision course with The Usos and challenged Reigns to settle things under the tribal stipulation.
Reigns has won both Tribal Combat matches WWE has held so far, defeating Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023 and Solo Sikoa on the RAW on Netflix premiere in 2025.
