Roman Reigns left WWE Backlash with the World Heavyweight Championship, but not exactly as a clean winner.

The OTC defeated Jacob Fatu in the main event of the premium live event, held in Tampa, Florida, after a very controversial finish. Fatu locked in the Tongan Death Grip, but Reigns managed to escape after raking his rival’s eyes and shoving him into the exposed turnbuckle, finishing the match with a Spear right after.

After the match, however, Fatu attacked Reigns again and caused major chaos in the ring. The “Samoan Werewolf” also took out WWE officials, including Adam Pearce, before closing the show holding Reigns’ title.

On the Backlash post-show, Reigns appeared visibly shaken and sent a message to his cousin, stating that he doesn’t belong in WWE and that it was his last night in the company.

“This is why we should have never let Jacob into this company. You don’t belong here, Jacob. There is no order with you. This is your last night here.”

The next Monday Night RAW takes place this Monday, May 11, in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Reigns officially announced for the show.
