Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns will star in one of the main events of WWE Crown Jewel, on Nov. 7, when they face each other for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.
Zayn, however, already has a reason to be highlighted, even before the match against Reigns. This is the first time that the Canadian will be part of the main card of the premium live event, since its first edition, in November 2018.
This is a track record that is about to be broken, quite an interesting one, mainly because of the strong connection that Zayn has with the Middle East, due to his Syrian origins. However, it is important to point out that, even in 2025, when the event took place in Perth, Australia, Zayn was not on the main card.
Last night, during Monday Night RAW in San Diego, Zayn and Reigns had their first face-to-face before the match on the 7th, but they ended up being interrupted by Penta, who warned them about the possibility of using the Money in the Bank briefcase at any time and place.
Unlike Zayn, who only has the threat of Penta, at least for now, Reigns also needs to focus on the 946, since on the same show, he fully entered the rivalry of the stable led by Royce Keys against The Bloodline.
So far, Crown Jewel remains scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, even with the high risk posed by the armed conflicts and terrorist attacks of the last few days, carried out by the Houthis, from Yemen.
