Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker had another chapter in their rivalry on the final Monday Night RAW before WWE Night of Champions, which took place at The O2 Arena in London.
During an interview conducted by Corey Graves, Rollins admitted that his plan to take down The Vision did not go exactly as he had hoped. Even so, The Visionary said he is just one win away from putting the group behind him for good.
Rollins also acknowledged the risk of facing Breakker in a Steel Cage Match. The former World Heavyweight Champion, however, made it clear that the match will be decisive in showing who he really is.
The rivalry between the two reached its peak at WrestleMania 42, when Breakker returned and attacked Rollins, costing him his match against Gunther. After that, The Vision also knocked Rollins out of the King of the Ring.
However, Rollins got part of his revenge on this week’s RAW. In the main event, The Vision defended the WWE World Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits in a match marked by interference from Logan Paul and Joe Hendry.
In the closing moments, Paul showed up with brass knuckles, but Hendry came out to run him off from ringside. Theory tried to grab the object, but Rollins’ music hit, and he snatched the brass knuckles before hitting Theory with them.
With Breakker chasing Rollins away from the ringside area, Angelo Dawkins hit the Anointment and Montez Ford followed with the Seven Star Frog Splash, securing the win for The Street Profits.
Breakker will head into WWE Night of Champions without the tag team title and with The Vision shaken.
