Stephanie Vaquer Reacts to WWE Women’s World Championship Win

Stephanie Vaquer had one of the biggest nights of her career in WWE, regaining the Women’s World Championship in her home country at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, on September 12.

Hours after the win, Vaquer took to social media to celebrate the moment:

“We made the impossible possible.
History was made.
September 12, 2026
WWE Women’s World Champion
Santiago, Chile 🇨🇱”

Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan at the Movistar Arena in a match with Becky Lynch serving as special guest referee. Morgan appeared to have the match won after hitting Oblivion, but Lynch stopped her count, opening the door for Vaquer to recover and pick up the win.

The victory kicked off Vaquer’s second Women’s World Championship reign. Her first began at Wrestlepalooza 2025, when she defeated IYO SKY for the vacant title, and ended against Morgan at WrestleMania 42.

The title change also snapped a long stretch without championships changing hands at non-televised events. According to Wrestling Noticias, it was the first time in 32 years that a main roster world title changed hands at a non-televised event.
