Main Event for WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Reportedly Set

Roman Reigns and LA Knight are expected to headline WWE Money in the Bank on Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that WWE plans to close the premium live event with Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Knight.

The plan stands out because, while the card was being finalized, there were internal discussions about having the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match close the show. WWE ultimately went with Reigns vs. Knight instead.

The feud between Reigns and Knight escalated on the Raw after SummerSlam, when Knight confronted Reigns and accused him of always leaning on The Bloodline to win.

Reigns beat Penta to retain the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 Raw in Mexico City. Knight then made a surprise appearance and hit Reigns with the BFT. Adam Pearce made Reigns vs. Knight official for Money in the Bank that same day.

Knight and Reigns came face to face again on Raw this past Monday, October 5, in St. Louis, Missouri. Reigns vowed to destroy Knight, making it clear that he does not need The Bloodline.

Along with the World Heavyweight Championship match, Money in the Bank will feature the men’s ladder match, with CM Punk, Bron Breakker, Penta, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans set to compete.

Another top match on the card is the Women’s World Championship triple threat featuring Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan. The show will also include the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, with Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green and Lash Legend.
