The Creed Brothers, who returned to WWE NXT in September, are no longer with WWE now that their contracts have expired.

TRNBCKL first reported on Friday morning that Julius Creed and Brutus Creed would leave the company when their contracts expired. Shortly after, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed that they had left, and the two were moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website.

Sapp wrote:

“The Creeds have left WWE, Fightful Select has confirmed. It appears to be a mutual parting of ways as their deal has expired.”

A source told False Finish that WWE had future plans for the Creeds in NXT following their surprise return. But the two wanted to leave WWE, so they were ready to let their contracts expire.

On September 1, Julius and Brutus returned to NXT, where they attacked Noam Dar, Romeo Moreno, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Two weeks after their return, while announcing that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic would be returning, Robert Stone, the NXT General Manager, took credit for bringing the Creed Brothers back.

The brothers last appeared in WWE on October 20. That night, Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) eliminated the Creeds from the tournament. That means their NXT return lasted just 49 days, and it ended in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which they won in 2022.

Julius signed with WWE in October 2020, and Brutus arrived the following February. On top of the tournament win, they won the NXT Tag Team Championship in June 2022, a title they held for 92 days.

So far, there has been no word from the Creeds about leaving WWE.
