TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, may have had a direct influence on Roman Reigns’ win over LA Knight at Money in the Bank, which took place last Saturday, October 10, in New Orleans.
In an analysis published on Sportskeeda, Love Verma raised the possibility that Reigns retaining the World Heavyweight Championship is directly tied to TKO’s interest in increasing his presence on WWE programming.
The speculation gained momentum after Fightful Select revealed that Reigns’ schedule had become one of the main topics of discussion behind the scenes in WWE in recent days. The suspicion is that TKO asked for more appearances from Reigns, although that has not yet been confirmed.
The suspected goal is to capitalize on Reigns’ major commercial potential, especially on television and at premium live events. However, there is no information confirming that TKO specifically demanded Knight’s loss, nor any data proving the financial impact of those appearances.
In fact, WWE has already announced Reigns for five episodes of Raw through the end of November, as well as Crown Jewel on November 7 and Survivor Series: WarGames on November 28.
Reigns has already wrestled seven matches in 2026, matching his total from 2025. In 2024, he wrestled only six times.
Reigns also has new potential challengers for the title. Oba Femi expressed interest in the championship during the Money in the Bank post-show, while the feud between The Bloodline and The 946 continues to gain momentum.
