Add as a preferred source on Google Last Thursday’s episode of TNA iMPACT! averaged 307,000 viewers on AMC, setting a new high for the show since it debuted on the network in January.
The audience was up 7.3 percent from the July 16 episode, which averaged 286,000 viewers and had been the previous AMC-era record. That mark lasted only one week before iMPACT! added another 21,000 viewers for the July 23 show.
iMPACT! drew a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up from the 0.03 rating posted by the July 16 episode, an increase of 66.7 percent. The latest rating was also above the 0.04 that iMPACT! drew for its AMC premiere.
The July 23 audience was 77.5 percent higher than the 173,000 viewers who watched the January 15 premiere. That represents an increase of 134,000 viewers over the first episode of the AMC run. The July 16 show had already topped the premiere by 113,000 viewers before the Righteous Deletion episode extended the record.
The Righteous Deletion
The latest high came for an episode featuring the Righteous Deletion at the Hardy Compound. Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated Vincent and Dutch in the cinematic match. Jeff secured the victory after delivering a Swanton Bomb from a construction vehicle through a table.
