Tony Khan confirmed that AEW is still working on its own podcast network, a project announced months ago that still has no official launch date.

During the Post Show Media Scrum following AEW Redemption in Montreal, Fightful’s Joel Pearl asked Khan for an update on the project after bringing up the launch of WWE Radio on SiriusXM.

“We’ve been working on it. We’re still planning the AEW podcast network with our friends. That is coming. That’s been in the works for quite a while, and it’s still in the works. It’s going to be very good. I’m looking forward to the AEW podcast network as we’ve been planning for a while. It’s going to be excellent.”

Despite the enthusiasm, Khan didn’t reveal who the partners involved are, which shows will make up the network, who the hosts will be, or on which platforms the content will be available.

The comparison to WWE comes because WWE Radio debuts this Monday, July 27, on SiriusXM channel 156. The new channel will carry audio broadcasts of the promotion’s top shows and premium live events, along with daily programs and podcasts hosted by names like Cody Rhodes, The Undertaker and Stephanie McMahon.
