Tony Khan may be close to expanding AEW’s pay-per-view calendar again in 2026.
During the Double or Nothing media call, the AEW President said he is “very interested” in running a new PPV in July, between Forbidden Door and All In.
Khan explained that he would only move forward with the idea if the event added value to AEW’s overall calendar, while noting that he takes pride in the quality of the company’s pay-per-view shows.
The window is definitely there. Forbidden Door is set for Sunday, June 28, at SAP Center in San Jose, California, airing on pay-per-view and HBO Max in the United States.

All In is scheduled for August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, England, creating a gap of just over two months without a major AEW pay-per-view on the current calendar.
The comments came on the day of Double or Nothing, which takes place this Sunday, May 24, at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. In the United States, the show begins at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT and will be available on HBO Max, along with other PPV platforms.

As of now, AEW has not officially confirmed a name, date, or location for the potential new July event. If the idea moves forward, it would be another step toward the company getting closer to a pay-per-view-per-month schedule.
