Add as a preferred source on Google Darby Allin has a busy few weeks ahead of him, both inside and outside the AEW ring.
During a recent interview with Q1043 New York, the current AEW World Champion revealed that he will be getting married on June 27, just one day before AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026.
“June 27. It’s coming up. I just found out the wedding is on the 27th, and the next day we have another pay-per-view. So, no honeymoon. It’s in Seattle, where we’re from.”
This year’s Forbidden Door will take place on Sunday, June 28, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event will air in the United States on pay-per-view and through HBO Max PPV.

Along with AEW and NJPW, the show will also feature talent from CMLL and STARDOM, continuing the international format used in the event’s most recent editions.
Allin also said he has known his fiancée since they were in school, when the two would see each other on the school bus. Years later, they reconnected through social media.
Before that, however, Allin has one of the biggest matches of his title reign ahead of him. This Sunday, May 24, at Double or Nothing in Queens, New York, he will defend the AEW World Championship against MJF in a Title vs. Hair Match.
