Triple H was more involved than viewers saw during the Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi weigh-in that opened this week’s Monday Night RAW. The show took place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

According to PWInsider, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H was “very much in control” as the segment played out live, even though he said little on camera.

The segment was initially scheduled for later in the show before being moved to the opening slot. Triple H also called audibles in the ring during Femi’s attack on security.

The main adjustment came during Femi’s physical spots. The sequence ended with The Ruler taking out several members of security and hitting one with Fall From Grace as Lesnar watched from outside the cell.

Femi weighed in at 302 pounds. Paul Heyman said Lesnar had weighed in at 303 pounds backstage. The Beast Incarnate refused to enter the structure and locked the door from the outside. Femi and Lesnar never got physical.

This will be their third match. Femi beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, but Lesnar evened the series at Clash in Italy.

Femi reached SummerSlam after winning King of the Ring and choosing to continue his rivalry with Lesnar instead of challenging a world champion.

Femi will make his Hell in a Cell debut. Lesnar has a 2-2 record in the match, including two wins over The Undertaker.
