Jacob Fatu may be far from his best physical condition in WWE, even as he continues to appear regularly on programming.

According to a recent update from Self Made Pro, the “Samoan Werewolf” is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury as well as a back issue.

As we previously reported, Fatu had already been the subject of injury rumors before Clash in Italy, where he faced Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. At the time, PWInsider noted that there were questions about his status after an issue at a live event.

Even so, Fatu competed as scheduled at the premium live event in Turin, Italy, where he was defeated by Reigns.

According to the new report, however, the slower pace of Fatu’s match against Reigns was directly tied to those physical limitations, as he reportedly has not been moving the way he normally does.

Despite the concerns, Fatu appeared on this week’s RAW in Paris, where he refused to do The Usos’ dirty work against Seth Rollins. In other words, WWE has not pulled him from television for now.

It remains unclear whether Fatu will need time away from the ring or if he will continue working through restrictions.
