Ethan Page will get his first major opportunity on the WWE main roster. On tonight’s Monday Night RAW, held in Knoxville, Tennessee, the recently promoted wrestler interrupted a Penta promo and made it clear that his target is the Intercontinental Championship.

Penta came out to the ring claiming to be a fighting champion and challenged Page to ask for a title match face to face. “All Ego” responded by saying he had already beaten the champion last week and that he should be treated as the next contender.

However, Page turned down the idea of facing Penta right away. According to him, the Intercontinental Championship is a symbol of excellence within WWE, and the match deserves to take place on a bigger stage. With that, the challenge was made for Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23.

The event will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This will be the first time since 2014 that the city hosts a televised WWE event, and it also marks the first Saturday Night’s Main Event in Indiana since 1992.

Rusev and Je’Von Evans also showed up during the segment, keeping the title picture open. Even so, Page was the one who walked away with the most direct challenge to Penta.

This will be Ethan Page’s first title match on the WWE main roster.
