WWE made a historic announcement during this Saturday’s Backlash broadcast, confirming that TripleMania 34 will be held over two nights for the first time.

AAA’s biggest annual event will take place on September 11 and 13 in Mexico City. The venue, however, has not been officially revealed yet, listed only as “TBA” on the graphic shown during the premium live event.

WWE has also opened a sign-up page on its official website for fans interested in receiving pre-sale access, highlighting the commercial importance of the event for AAA’s new era.

It’s worth recalling that WWE announced the acquisition of AAA in April 2025 during WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Since then, AAA has been getting more and more spotlight within WWE’s programming. The 2025 Worlds Collide, one of the biggest joint events between WWE and AAA, featured names like El Hijo del Vikingo, Chad Gable, Rey Fenix, Laredo Kid, Lola Vice, and Stephanie Vaquer.

TripleMania XXXIII, the most recent edition, was held in August 2025 at Arena CDMX, breaking records in viewership, box office, merchandise sales, and digital engagement.

With that, the 2026 edition becomes the most ambitious step in the partnership so far. It remains to be seen which Mexico City arena will host the two-night event.
