Jacob Fatu became one of WWE’s biggest concerns in the final hours before Clash in Italy, which takes place this Sunday at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
According to PWInsider, Fatu was injured during a WWE live event in Liverpool, England, where he faced Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight. Fatu reportedly left the match limping, immediately raising questions about whether he would be able to appear at the premium live event.
Fightful has now also confirmed earlier reports that Fatu appeared to be dealing with an injury during the week. WWE also discussed contingency plans for Roman Reigns’ match at Clash in Italy in case a last-minute change became necessary.
We can confirm previous reports that Jacob Fatu did appear to be injured during the week, and WWE did discuss alternative plans for the Roman Reigns match at Clash in Italy.

Despite that, as of this writing, WWE is still officially promoting Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu as a Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The match is a rematch from Backlash, where Reigns defeated Fatu to retain the world title. After the match, Fatu attacked the champion, and on the following Raw, he also targeted The Usos and WWE officials, further escalating the rivalry.
