Saudi officials are still promoting WWE Crown Jewel even after the U.S. government issued new security alerts.
On Monday, Turki Alalshikh again urged fans to buy tickets for the show.
In a post on X, Alalshikh promoted Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The post still listed Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District as the venue.
“Roman Reigns takes on Sami Zayn for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship,” Alalshikh said.
The post came after the State Department ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members to leave Saudi Arabia over the risks tied to attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis.
The State Department said:
“Effective October 23, 2026, the Department of State ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and U.S. government employee family members to leave Saudi Arabia due to safety risks.”
The alert keeps Saudi Arabia at Level 3, which recommends reconsidering travel to the country. U.S. government employees also need special authorization to use Saudi airports.
Travel safety is also being discussed behind the scenes at WWE. Ari Emanuel told Fox News on Thursday that a team is monitoring the situation daily and looking at possible alternate locations for Crown Jewel.
“Yeah, we have a whole team kind of working on this,” Emanuel said. Emanuel called the effort “a daily monitoring.”
Crown Jewel is still scheduled for November 7.
