WWE is expected to celebrate The Rock in a big way this month, which marks 30 years since his WWE debut.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that WWE is planning several tributes to The Rock, including “a commemorative championship belt, special merchandise releases, and social media campaigns.”
The design, price, and release date for the belt have not been revealed yet.
There was a similar situation with Triple H recently. In April 2025, WWE released four title belts to celebrate his 30th anniversary.
The Rock has had his own title belts before. In 2013, as champion, he introduced the new WWE Championship belt with the Brahma Bull logo on the side plates. In 2024, he received the People’s Championship from Lonnie Ali, the wife of the late Muhammad Ali, during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
The Rock debuted for WWE on November 17, 1996, at Survivor Series under the name Rocky Maivia, and he was the sole survivor for his team in a traditional Survivor Series match.
This year’s Survivor Series, the 40th edition of the show, is set to take place just 11 days after the anniversary, on November 28 at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas.
It’s unclear if The Rock will appear on TV as part of the celebration.
The Rock last appeared on WWE TV in March 2025 at Elimination Chamber and took part in John Cena’s heel turn.
