WWE has locked in a loaded Monday Night RAW for May 4 from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. It marks the final stop before Backlash.
The main event spotlight goes to the contract signing between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu. They collide next Saturday in Tampa for the World Heavyweight Championship. The feud exploded after Fatu ambushed Reigns on last week’s RAW, forcing the champion to accept the challenge.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce also confirmed Oba Femi’s Open Challenge will continue. WWE has booked The Ruler as one of its most dominant forces since his statement win over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
In tag action, Je’Von Evans teams with Intercontinental Champion Penta against Rusev and Ethan Page. The rivalry centers on Penta’s title and Page’s recent main roster debut.
Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh will run it back. Bálor beat McDonagh on the RAW after WrestleMania, but his former Judgment Day stablemate gets another shot.
Asuka and IYO SKY will also meet face-to-face ahead of their Backlash showdown. Sol Ruca will close out the night by officially signing her RAW contract, cementing her main roster call-up.
