WWE is building hype for this year’s Backlash with an official ranking of the premium live event’s ten greatest main events. The list dropped Sunday, May 3, as part of the WWE Top 10 series.

The Rock versus Triple H for the WWE Championship at Backlash 2000 took the top spot. It featured the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin, who helped The Rock topple Triple H and the McMahon family.

Cody Rhodes versus AJ Styles from Backlash France 2024 landed at No. 2 and raised eyebrows. The bout marked one of Rhodes’ first big defenses as Undisputed WWE Champion in front of one of the loudest crowds in recent memory.
