Add as a preferred source on Google WWE has revealed the official poster for NXT Great American Bash, the brand’s next major event, which will take place on Sunday, June 28.
The promotional material gives major focus to several of the top names on current NXT programming, including Tatum Paxley, Tony D’Angelo, Naraku, Lola Vice, and Kendal Grey.
So far, WWE has made two matches official. In the main one, Tony D’Angelo will put the NXT Championship on the line against Naraku, who earned the opportunity by defeating Mason Rook in a #1 Contender’s Match.
In the women’s division, Lola Vice will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Kendal Grey. WWE has positioned Grey as one of the company’s fastest-rising names, while Vice enters the event after dethroning Jacy Jayne at Stand & Deliver a few weeks ago.
This will also be the first NXT premium live event to air on The CW under the new agreement between the network and WWE.
The deal calls for 20 NXT specials to air over the next several years, including Stand & Deliver, Deadline, Vengeance Day, and Great American Bash.
The event also stands out because it will take place on the same day as AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
