UFC Freedom 250, set for this Sunday at the White House in Washington, D.C., is also creating interest behind the scenes in WWE.

The UFC event will take place on the South Lawn of the presidential residence, while Fan Fest is being held at The Ellipse on June 13 and 14, featuring UFC fighters and WWE names.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, in addition to the stars already booked for Fan Fest, several other WWE names have expressed interest in attending the event, even if not in an official role.

The report notes that some talent reached out to the company directly in an attempt to be present for the show. Several WWE backstage employees are also expected to be in Washington during the weekend.

Names announced for Fan Fest include Charlotte Flair, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso), The Miz, and Tiffany Stratton. Other reports have also mentioned Chelsea Green among the talent tied to the weekend’s promotional activities.

The internal interest is not surprising, as WWE and UFC are both owned by TKO Group Holdings, which has led to more crossover promotion between the two companies in recent years.

Fan Fest will also include meet-and-greet sessions, panels, Q&A events, ceremonial weigh-ins, a Zac Brown Band concert, and a watch party for UFC Freedom 250.

On the main card, the biggest attraction will be the fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje, along with a bout involving Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane.

It remains to be seen which WWE names will be able to attend the event beyond those already officially announced for fan activities.
