WWE is expected to receive around $150 million to hold WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. Dave Meltzer revealed the amount during Sunday’s Wrestling Observer Radio after reviewing financial information related to the event.
The amount represents 25 times the $6 million Las Vegas paid WWE to host WrestleMania 42 in April. Public documents obtained by POST Wrestling also revealed that the company received approval for another $4.3 million in tax incentives, bringing the U.S. package to approximately $10.3 million.
Meltzer explained that sources in Saudi Arabia had already indicated a payment of more than $100 million. The information reviewed now points to $150 million, almost three times the approximately $55 million WWE usually receives for a regular event in the country.
Another comparison involves WrestleMania’s own ticket revenue. Pollstar data obtained by Wrestlenomics shows that the 2026 edition generated $36 million in ticket sales across both nights, a 45.5% decrease from the previous year. The expected payment for Riyadh is approximately 4.2 times that revenue, although they are different revenue sources.
The new estimate also updates information from Oct. 3. At the time, Meltzer was already pointing to a payment of more than $100 million and reporting that Las Vegas had neither available dates nor the ability to offer financial incentives similar to those of Saudi Arabia.
The amount now presented increases the financial impact of a potential relocation of WrestleMania 43, given the conflicts in the Middle East.
