Wilson had been expected for the show due to his connection with The Miz, especially amid the ongoing rivalry involving Danhausen. During the episode, Miz even complained to Nick Aldis about Wilson’s absence before his match against Axiom.
After the show, Wilson took to social media to explain what happened and apologize to the fans in attendance, as well as those watching in the United States on USA Network.
Wilson also poked fun at the rumors surrounding his absence, saying he had more than 100ml of moisturizers and creams in his bag.
