Ric Flair has spoken out again following the recent controversy involving his son, David Flair, and the use of the “Flair” name.

In recent days, the WWE Hall of Famer posted messages on X suggesting he could take legal action against someone close to him over the alleged misuse of his trademark. The situation gained even more attention shortly afterward, as fans began linking the matter to David, whose real name is David Fliehr.

Flair later posted another message, which was also deleted, saying he was not suing his son. However, he asked David to use his own last name and stop relying on the Flair name.

Now, the “Nature Boy” has returned to social media to apologize for the way he publicly aired his frustrations. Flair also pointed to health issues, saying they have affected the way he handles certain situations.

“If You Understood The Health Issues That I Deal With And Am Currently Dealing With, You Would Understand Why I Get Frustrated In Life With A Lot Of People. I’m Sorry For The Frustration. I Am Taking Time To Focus On My Health.”

David Flair worked for WCW from 1998 to 2001, winning the United States Championship and the World Tag Team Championship alongside Crowbar. After WWE purchased WCW, he also spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling before being released.
