As of last week, WWE hadn’t told Rusev, Ethan Page, and Big Cass about any plans for them to form a new stable on RAW.

Fightful Select learned this backstage and released the news on Sunday, after there were rumors that WWE was planning to put them together.

The latest update is different from what Self Made Pro reported earlier. Ibou said on Self Made Sessions last week that the three would soon be officially introduced as a stable.

Rusev addressed the rumors in an interview with TMZ’s Inside the Ring that was released on Friday. He called the idea “internet booking” and said he hadn’t heard anything about it. He joked that Page found a new partner while he was out.

Rusev has not been on TV since he was injured in his match with Je’Von Evans on RAW on July 27. He temporarily lost feeling in his hands, but he was medically cleared to return in September and was back in the ring at WWE house shows in Hawaii in October.

Fightful Select also reported that CJ Perry’s pregnancy, which was announced last week, added to his time away from TV. Rusev told TMZ that he had “been good for about two months” and had been training in Nashville and at the WWE Performance Center.

Meanwhile, Page has teamed up with Cass on RAW. On last week’s show, they defeated Chad Gable and Dragon Lee.

WWE has announced that Page will face Gable for the Intercontinental Championship on tonight’s RAW.
