The main show opens with a video package featuring the arrivals of the night’s top stars at U.S. Bank Stadium, including CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar.
Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY
– Morgan hits SKY with a Codebreaker+ObLivion, followed by the pinfall.
With the win, Morgan retains the Women’s World Championship.
6-Man Tag Team Match: Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, and Royce Keys vs. The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Jey, and Jimmy Uso)
– Knight hits Jey Uso with the BFT and scores the pinfall victory.
After the match, Knight initially hesitates before accepting a hug from Sikoa, officially cementing their new alliance.
Singles Match: Gunther vs. Nick Aldis
– Gunther locks Aldis in a Sleeper Hold, forcing him to tap out.
After the match, Aldis received a standing ovation from the Minneapolis crowd for his outstanding performance in his return to the ring. Mickie James joins Aldis in the ring with their son, celebrating the General Manager’s in-ring return despite the loss.
6-Woman Tag Team Match: The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki) and Paige vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid)
– Jayne hits Paige with a Discus Punch, then scores the pinfall.
After the match, while Fatal Influence celebrates on the entrance ramp, The Bella Twins attack Paige from behind, turning on her. Nikki hits Paige with a Rack Attack, leaving her laid out in the ring. Brie and Nikki shout that they are back to loud boos from the crowd.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
– Randy Orton makes a surprise return in the closing moments of the match. The Viper takes advantage of the referee being down and hits Rhodes with an RKO. Punk capitalizes and connects with the GTS, followed by the pinfall.
Hell in a Cell Match: Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. Oba Femi
– Femi hits Lesnar with the Fall From Grace and scores the pinfall.
After the match, Lesnar returns to the ring alongside Paul Heyman and embraces Femi in a clear show of respect before raising his hand. Lesnar grabs a microphone and says Femi is WWE’s future, while Lesnar is its past.
Night One of WWE SummerSlam ends with Femi celebrating in the ring.
