
Adam Copeland is not ruling out working behind the scenes in AEW once his in-ring career is over, but he is not treating it as a sure thing yet.
Speaking in a recent interview with Westwood One Sports, the WWE Hall of Famer said any conversation along those lines would depend on Tony Khan and what the company needs in the future.
Copeland said he would ask where he could be useful and then decide whether the role made sense. At the same time, he made it clear he could also choose to simply rest, ride jet skis, or stay focused on other projects.

The main point, though, is that he considers himself a creative person and knows he will still need to “scratch that creative itch,” whether that means acting or helping with AEW creative in some way.
Copeland is currently active on AEW programming alongside Christian Cage. The duo is chasing the AEW World Tag Team Championship and accepted the “I Quit” stipulation for their match against FTR at Double or Nothing, which takes place on May 24.
Copeland signed with AEW in October 2023 after appearing at WrestleDream, ending his long run as Edge in WWE. Since then, he has balanced his in-ring work with projects outside wrestling, including acting.
