AEW has loaded up this Saturday’s Collision on 8/15 with several notable bouts, including Mercedes Moné in singles action and an AEW World Trios Championship defense.
In the title match, “Hangman” Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido will put the trios titles on the line against The Lethal Twist, the trio of Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson. The champions captured the gold at Grand Slam Mexico on 8/5, defeating Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona of The Demand.
On this week’s Dynamite, Ricochet showed up demanding a rematch but made it clear that it would happen on their terms.
Mercedes Moné will also face Zayda Steel in singles competition as she continues building toward her showdown with AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale at AEW: All In later this month.
Additionally, AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion, the team of Megan Bayne and Lena Kross, will be in action.
Collision will also wrap up the entire first round of the Continental Challenge Cup. The winners will advance to a new draw, with the semifinals set for Dynamite in Glasgow and the final taking place at All In with the AEW Continental Championship on the line.
