AEW has announced a major title match for this Wednesday’s Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster on June 10 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jon Moxley will put the AEW Continental Championship on the line against Shane Taylor in Moxley’s hometown.
The match was set up after the events of the latest AEW Collision. During the show, Taylor scored a dominant win over Alan Angels and later called out the Death Riders for a fight, making it clear that Shane Taylor Promotions intends to take over as AEW’s most violent group.
The situation escalated when Taylor and Trish Adora attacked Wheeler Yuta backstage, forcing a direct response from Moxley. Later in the night, the reigning champion accepted the challenge and said he would give Taylor exactly what he asked for on the next Dynamite.
His name is Mox and his world is blood and fire…

Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster will take place at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, with live coverage on TBS and HBO Max.
Along with Moxley vs. Taylor, AEW has also confirmed several other key matches for the special, including PAC vs. Mark Briscoe, The Young Bucks vs. The Dogs, Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Sareee vs. Skye Blue, and Orange Cassidy vs. Andrade El Ídolo.
Now the question is whether Moxley can retain the title in front of his hometown crowd, or whether Taylor can turn the attack on Yuta into the biggest win of his AEW run.
