AEW has announced a major World Trios Championship defense for All In, taking place this Sunday, August 30, at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
At the event’s press conference, Tony Khan revealed that “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King will put the titles on the line in a Trios Roulette Royale, a gauntlet-style match featuring no fewer than seven teams. The bout is set for the Buy-In ahead of the main card.
The following teams have been confirmed for the match:
- “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (c)
- The Bang Bang Gang (Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn)
- The Dogs (David Finlay, Clark Connors, and Gabe Kidd)
- The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun)
- Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Daniel Garcia)
- The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly)
- Wild Card Trio (TBA)
Khan said he is still working on the final trio and indicated the names are being pulled from talent he has scouted around the world. Kyle O’Reilly has also been cleared to compete despite concern over a possible orbital injury following the latest Dynamite.
Page, Bandido, and Brody King captured the AEW World Trios Championship on August 5 at Grand Slam: Mexico, defeating The Demand. Their first successful defense came ten days later against The Lethal Twist.
The stipulation is also a nod to the $300,000 Three Kings Christmas Casino Trios Battle Royal from 2022, won by AR Fox and Top Flight.
