“Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) are the new AEW World Trios Champions.
The title change took place at AEW’s Grand Slam: Mexico event on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Arena Mexico in Mexico City. The trio defeated The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona), ending the champions’ short reign.
Both teams had their moments throughout the match. In the closing stretch, Liona lifted Page, Bandido and King all at once for a triple Samoan Drop, but the advantage didn’t last long.
King took Liona down with a clothesline and dove to the outside onto Ricochet and Kaun. Bandido attempted the 21-Plex on Liona, who fought out of it. Page then ran in, connected with a big boot, and followed it up with the Buckshot Lariat. Bandido capitalized on the opening to complete the 21-Plex and secure the pinfall.

2:28 AM · Aug 6, 2026With that, The Demand’s reign came to an end after seven days. The group made just one title defense, against The Rascalz, before losing the championships.
This marks Page’s second AEW World Trios Championship reign, as he was previously champion alongside Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight earlier this year. King also earned his second reign, following House of Black’s run atop the division in 2023. Bandido, meanwhile, won the trios titles for the first time.
Brodido also previously held the AEW World Tag Team Championship in 2025, a reign that lasted 90 days.
