Add as a preferred source on Google Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho will finally have a match in AEW. The bout has been confirmed for AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, which will take place on July 8 at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida.
The match was confirmed during the latest AEW Collision in Houston, Texas, after a face-to-face segment between the two wrestlers. Jericho appeared without his usual gear and made it clear that he was willing to deal with Ciampa by whatever means necessary.
Ciampa fired back, saying this was the version of Jericho he wanted to face, before issuing the challenge for Beach Break. Jericho accepted the match, and the two immediately started brawling.

The rivalry between the two has picked up in recent weeks, especially after Ciampa attacked Jericho following the end of his feud with Ricochet. Since then, Ciampa has continued to taunt the veteran and has tried to prove he is better than the former AEW World Champion.
As of now, this is the first match confirmed for AEW Dynamite: Beach Break.
