Private Party’s situation in AEW appears to be more serious than initially believed.

According to Fightful Select, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen suffered the same injury in the same match on March 28, when they faced the Death Riders, the team of Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia, on AEW Collision. As of now, there is no timetable for either wrestler to return to the ring.

The match took place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and ended with the Death Riders picking up the win. In the closing moments, Garcia applied the DragonTamer to Kassidy, while Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli prevented Quen from making the save, forcing the submission.

At first, only Quen was believed to be injured. On April 6, it was reported that he had suffered some kind of tear, though the affected body part was not disclosed, and that he would be out for a considerable amount of time. PWInsider later reported that Kassidy was also hurt, though the nature of his injury was not revealed either.

The situation stands out even more because Private Party had only recently returned to AEW, appearing on the February 11 episode of Dynamite as the surprise team in a match that also featured The Young Bucks and The Rascalz.

With that, AEW’s tag team division loses one of its most established teams for an indefinite period.
